I used to work for the Stanford Linear Accelerator. Entirely funded by the DOE, I always figured it was a good return on my tax money. <br> Having spent the last 20 years in the wealth producing sector of the economy, I take a slightly different tack these days. So, it was with interest that I went to the SLAC web site and see that they will be receiving stimulus money to the tune of $50 million or more, with more coming. So...how do you stimulate wealth production by giving money to wealth consumers? One observation...SLAC is in a solidly Democratic district, just down the road from PelosiLand.
