The politicians don't care about the Constitution because they're elected by people who base their decision on representation based on what they want done about gays and abortion; neither of which are duties expressly granted to the Federal government. So, we have a group of politicians who don't know any other routine beside pandering to the heartstrings of voters with (sorry) meaningless, hollow, no-solution social issues instead of merely minding the watchtower as they were intended to do. Our politicians are a shameful display of the most vile and contradictory core American value; the desire to impress one's perspective/morals on another. We see this in our daily lives, in our electoral process, and in our foreign policy. <br> <br> What a terrible departure from the wisdom preserved in our Constitution.
