If a CEO who gets paid 10's of millions in total compensation per year to make bad decisions and drive his company into the ground is what we call a "brain" then we are in a pretty sad shape. Maybe the government should have let private companies like Bank of America, Citigroup, and AIG die instead of spending trillions in bailout to rescue them. And then we complain about a mere trillion spread over 10 years for health care reform. At least in the latter case the people actually get some benefit for their tax dollars. All we got for our TARP payouts to the banks were higher banking fees and closing HELOCs.
