When you die, you become someone else's problem. Burials and funeral costs are unnecessary. Just leave that life insurance money for your family to spend on whatever.<br> <br> A totaled car is very inconvenient, but it's not the end of the world. People can carpool, or find alternative transportation, and the costs of a new car are comparatively minor in comparison to long-term hospitalization and cancer treatment.<br> <br> Because health care costs can spiral out of control, and these expenses are both unexpected and necessary (unless you want to leave that strange tumor untreated), employees really want that peace of mind to know that if anything happens, they have health insurance.
