For years I have been wondering why so many people pay attention to the 'president' of Iran. The Iranian 'president' holds no real power. The Supreme Religious Council runs the country period. Policies of the 'president' are the policies of the council, nothing more or less. The 'president' would have far less influence and percieved power if the media would call him for what he really is and focus on the Council.
