Rethink this people. First, North Korean technology is limited in the missile area. (Let's not count the older versions of the Soviet prepared missiles like the Silkworm coastal defense missile he likes to shoot out into the ocean every once and awhile). It takes the NKA days to prepare and fire any effective missile by the time they could load an effective payload, South Korea or China would know and react. Second, the actual range for firing an effective nuke because of the payload weight would be limited to areas in nearby Asia. Third, a real nuclear war against South Korea or Japan would upset the balance of power in Asia by bringing in more US, Japanese, NATO, UN, and even Russian troops into a ground war on the Korean peninsula changing the balance of power in Asia – something China does not want. Forth, the impact of the war would hurt China’s trade and the Hong Kong market (radioactive fallout into coastal China) – something China does not want. Fifth, Even “the Gargoyle” knows he would not survive to see the dawn the day after he made such an attempt and he is doing all this saber rattling for self-preservation.
