First, South Korea shouldn't have joined the Proliferation Security Initiative. They won't be much benefit, but it is certainly a provocation.<br> <br> Second, it's time the US stop promising things to NK if we aren't going to keep these promises. Clinton promised to build two light-water reactors in NK if they suspended their nuclear weapons program, which they did temporarily. Where are those reactors.<br> <br> Later, the Bush administration promised 600,000 tons of energy aid. NK disabled their Yongbyon reactor, but only got 400,000 aid in return.
