Bravo!! Well said. I wish you were my doctor.<br> <br> And I can't remember his name, but there was a doctor that offered his patients a care "package" for a flat fee per month, one charge for single, one for family. All the care that he could provide in his office for free, no pre-existing conditions turned down.<br> <br> Government jumped in and said he couldn't do that, he was operating as an insurance company.<br> <br> He kept after them and finally they agreed to let him offer it, but he had to raise his rates (why do they care?) and anything beyond an office visit (in office procedure) had to have an additional charge.<br> <br> Now, the hell don't they see the logic in that type of approach? I loved the idea!
