Where are the results of the stress test that were supposed to come out today? This news should be THE leading news. All I can find on the subject are articles talking about Bank of America. Peppered throughout these stories are names of other institutions with numbers in the gutters. How come this is not a big story. THIS is THE story. Is the media running cover for the administration on this? The names of institutions that are basically insolvent that I know of are as follows in no particular order: Citigroup, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, PNC Financial Services Group, Suntrust Banks, Capital One Financial Corp, BB&T Corp, Regions Financial Corp, Fifth Third Bancorp, Keycorp and GMAC. These banks under normal circumstances would be considered bankrupt. These are not normal circumstances though. The very fact that the stress test results were pushed back so many times and the fact that today is the day and it is already past noon tells me that the powers that be are going to attempt to get away with just not releasing the numbers to the media. Anyone else wondering the same?
