A couple of weeks ago two Census workers came to the door. They had ID (fake, perhaps, I don't know). Said they wanted to know if the house was a "Single Family Dwelling." <br> <br> I laughed at them and told them only to government would send someone around a year before the Census to ask that kind of stupid question. <br> <br> I also asked them how much this was costing us taxpayers. Of course they didn't know.<br> <br> Reminded me of the letter the government sent last year to people telling them they were going to receive a check in a few weeks. I read the cost of mailing the letters was $30M.<br> <br> Why am I not surprised at this stupidity.
