These encounters are not with legitimate census takers. These are criminals scoping out property to determine if it's an easy egg to crack. They usually carry no real identification and maybe a few fake documents to try and look real if anyone questions them. If you're not home, or if you look to be easy to overpower, they return with their "colleagues" and finish the job.<br> <br> As for the "pink undies" encounter, question like those make me suspect a local radio show playing a prank.
