I am liberal, but I do think that people are just close-minded and dont want to face the truth. Such as, people keep saying vote for the republicans for lowering taxes and this and that. But republicans never do that. Then they call them RINOS, and then republicans continue to elect them. I personally would vote liberal just cause I know the klan and neo nazis vote republican. Pissing them off means more to me than paying an extra cent of tax on a snickers bar. If the republican party was to split and get rid of the people who focus on abortions, no beer on sundays, and stem cells, and create a party focused on lowering taxes and smaller government, they would definitely get some switchovers from the democratic party. But as of right now, republicans would rather spend money on preventing abortions rather than working on the economy. Once conservatives get their priorities straight, then I will take them seriously.
