When I was in public schooling, I can remember the teachers were preaching that we were returning to the Ice Age, and we needed to cut back on our consumption of energy to stop this, We were in the 4th grade and had the thermostat set back to 65 deg. There was one teacher, He refused to turn down his thermostat and even raised it. All of the other teachers met to discuss his daring to refuse. Ah but dissention is only good when used by the left. I can look back on this today and see how easily people are manipulated to strange ideals by the many inputs that organise to put across a point of view/agenda. Given enough time common sence usually prevails and the notion fades until the next crisis can be manufactured or exploited. Remember boys and girls its all about control.
