I do blame the media in that we have heard about the recession we are in now starting in 2002. When we had a chance to head off the housing problem the media was unable to inform us because it would have cost them the election to admit that the Dems in Congress were failing to help correct the problem. The R's deserve some of the blame but it is important to put the blame belongs.
