I'm an independent contractor therefore I hold out my own taxes and pay them quarterly. Last year I paid just over $11K in taxes. This year, the same. If everyone had to do what I have to do, this mini revolt would have happened long ago and we'd have shifted to the Fair Tax long ago too I imagine.
