I am a civil engineer who has been working a plethra of "Green" type jobs. From Geothermal Energy to a Ethanol Refinery to a Solar plant. These are up and coming right now. But if anyone reading this is considering getting a "green" degree let me give you some advice. Get a degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Civil/Environmental engineering. You can use these degrees to get into the "green" field but if there is no opportunity there for you you can easily switch over to another industry. Please don't pigeon hole yourself with a "green" degree. Be flexible.
