I never miss his columns and as Neal alludes, he's a very smart man. Whenever I would argue VDH's columns with a leftist (a mistake, I know), they never could argue the merits. They'd always go off on some inconsequential tangent (or say something that VDH did not assert) and act as though they've thoroughly proven VDH wrong. I've subsequently realized leftism IS terminal stupidity and as such there is no use debating them because they can't debate...they don't think, they just mindlessly emote.
