I have never spoken with a person who says they are against vouchers or tax credits for private schools who can answer the following questions.

First, if the intent of schools is to educate children, why is it a bad thing to have the money follow students to the best place to be educated?

Second, since you think it is bad for public schools if vouchers or tax credits are used to pay for student education [whether private or public in a non-failing school] please explain why it should be a priority to save "FAILING" public schools rather than to educate those students who are subjected to them?

If education of students was truly the primary goal, there would be no objection to having the funding for education follow the student wherever s/he goes.
