So, if the Treasury gets this new ability, who's to say they won't take over the car companies because they affect the economy? Or how about the "evil" oil companies? Or Google? Or Yahoo? This is EXACTLY why we HAVE a Constitution and a Supreme Court. Our Founding Fathers recognized that there would be people who tried to take over the system through power grabs like this. At 50 years old, this will be my first opportunity to see if those checks and balances can keep these guys from completely destroying our country.
