...blind conservosheep bleat about the failure of left-leaning ideas while failing to realize -- either through stupidity or selective reality -- that newspapers are not failing because of their ideas, but because they are an obsolete medium. The vast majority of any newspaper these days is nothing more than AP re-prints and syndicated columnists, both of which are available, almost entirely free (there are a few paid-subscription services out there), on the internet. And unlike a newspaper, the internet allows the reader to do instant fact-checking and cross-referencing, and read wildly different viewpoints on the same story without having to buy *another* publication.

Go ahead though, keep patting yourselves on the back. I'm certain the complete national rejection of those dirty liberal ideals are the reason that all the "liberal-biased mainstream media" TV channels are still going strong and showing no signs of the collapse that the newspaper industry is going through, and why the president and the overwhelming majority of both congressional bodies are liberal.
