I've met more than a few expats from New Zealand. They joke that the population of New Zealand may be about 5 million, but at any given time, 1 million of them are living and working out of the cuntry. With its agriculture- and tourist- based economy, there are scarce opportunities for professional employment, so many college-educated New Zealanders leave their lush paradise for career opportunities in Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, and other such centers of business and commerce.
