Elphinstone, a real estate writer for AP just announced that data now shows that 48% of "homeowners" with sub prime or adjustable rate mortgages are either behind in their payments or are in foreclosure. Don't you just love that affordable housing and the dead beats for which it was designed? Thank you Freddie and Fannie!
