Stan,<br> The 2nd amendment is not about hunting or sport.<br> It is about your right to defend your own life against anyone who tries to take it, thereby depriving you of your right to life.<br> The good people residing in DC have the same right to self defense that the rest of us have, but the government has been depriving them from that right for too long now, so they have to live at the mercy of the criminals, home invaders, murderers, rapists, etc., who could not care less about a gun law or any other law out there.<br> <br> The "rulers" in the government get armed protection from the Secret Service, paid for by us commoners...while they try to pass more laws to deprive us of our right to self defense.<br> Gun Control is not about Guns, it's about Control.
