People will always be willing to give away personal liberty and rights if there is a common enemy that threatens us. Even while the observable science of climatic variances suggest overwhelmingly, (according to US Army studies), to be cyclical and only mildly effected by humans, governments are attempting to garner power over its citizenry by making this the common enemy; one that will cause us to all join together in a harmonious effort to mutually defeat this "crisis"<br> <br> Being an American, but having lived in Latin America, and now in Europe, we find it interesting that this global warming "crisis" is being proffered by those who were formerly of the Socialist and Communist ideals. But instead of attempting to make "capitalism" the enemy, they make Global Warming the enemy, at the expense of the Capitalistic ideal. The so-called "new Green markets" or "green economies" sound like something new and innovative, almost "capitalistic", but will be government funded and controlled; thus completing the Socialistic objectives.
