Oh brother. What a dumb article. Neal - did you read the article before linking to it? Notice that he bought an H2 for under $30K. This is not unusual or extravagant for a mayor of a major city. Note that the article even states that he's paying for his own gas.<br> <br> Mayors don't typically travel alone, and comfort and the ability to drive staff members is essential. Considering that a Toyota Hybrid can easily cost over $30K, I think the mayor did well - and bought American.
