Leave it to the liberals to make a utter mess of this. <br> There's nothing wrong with detaining these terrorists at Gitmo. These aren't CRIMINALS, they are TERRORISTS.<br> If we stick 'em in a regular prison, they'll recruit fellow prisoners. Can we stick them in confinement? I don't think most prisons could handle them.<br> I am not sure why some people are so insistant that we give them trials. You do know -- or should know -- that during WW2 we had German soldiers held as POWs on American soil in POW camps, and we didn't put any of them on trial. In fact, we treated them quite well.<br> Those however were soldiers & understood for them the war was over, and knew even if they escaped they'd only be out in a foreign land and most people would never help them. <br> The terrorists would never be so benign.
