The GOP is held accountable. As stan gable pointed out(apparentlty he never heard of Newt Gingrich and the Contract With America), GOP politicians are rejected when they break campaign promises, dp politicians are excused, no matter what they do. What ends a GOP politician's career is "successful strategy," for the dp. <br> <br> It's fun watching the standards flip when the party in question changes. I can't wait until barney frank gives us another floor speech on the treason of dissent, like he did during the bombing of Serbia (back when it was okay to bomb a country with no congressional vote or UN approval).<br> We found more women and children in one of saddam's mass graves than in all of Kosovo. Yet we will likely be out of Iraq, where we have a strategic interest, before we are out of Kosovo, where we have none. This is going to be entertaining, if nothing else.
