BMI does NOT measure obesity - but that's how it's being used, because it's the fastest way to make the statistics fit the conclusion.<br> <br> BMI is convenient: it's just a ratio of height to weight. It's more difficult to measure body fat ratio - which would tend to measure obesity, but would tend to disinclude those disgusting mesomorphs (muscular folks).
