What is wrong with the word Chiefs?? When I think of a Native American Chief I think of a Strong , Wise, Warrior. <br> <br> It's asinine to compare a word that has a certain amount of prestige to it as tantamount to calling them the "Darkies" or "Spics" which is clearly meant as derogatory.<br> <br> The Chiefs use their emblems/mascots to show honor and pride in the warrior spirit that USED to be characteristic of Native Americans. I would certainly rather have my people remembered for their spirit,unique painted faces, and feather headdresses of the past, than of the current images of Casino owners at best and drunken trailer trash at the worse.
