"He also wants new computers and new training for teachers. And just how does THAT stimulate our economy?" <br> <br> It puts money into pockets of companies that provide the services. Perhpas you are argeing that this is false economy as all of us will pay taxes to cover the costs, the government takes it's cut, and some trickles down to the service providers. <br> <br> I have personally witnessed high tech equipment for schools shoved in a corner to gather dust because no teacher has the skills to use it and could care less about learning it.
