If the body (the economy) is lying on the gurney in the ER, and the "stimulus" paddles are all that will save it, Obama's ideas are not like giving the patient an aspirin. It's more like he's in the patient's room, rifling through his pockets, running up long distance phone charges on his hospital phone, and using the patient's credit cards to send presents to all his friends.
