The Fairtax Bill is mediocre, due to one major problem. This is designed to continue taxing Americans, when the real issue is The Federal Reserve System. I would venture to guess that most of you aren't aware that The Federal Reserve System is a privately owned company, controlled by a board of bankers, and contracted to the U.S. Government to control all of the printing of money, how much is in circulation, and how much they are paid for doing this "service". Well, The Federal Reserve is the reason we're in this economic mess, because they control intrest rates in the banking industry and we're looking to THEM to fix the very problem they created?? Today, the amount of debt we owe The Federal Reserve is equal to the amount of money the government takes in through income and payroll taxes. Why not abolish The Federal Reserve, put printing of money back into the hands of America, and abolish income and payroll taxes for good since we don't owe that debt any more? We won't have to replace it with another tax system like the Fairtax!!!!
