We've heard the financial industry and now, the auto industry, use the same excuse - that too many people will lose jobs, and that there are many related companies that will go under (such as parts suppliers) if the Big 3 fail.<br> <br> How is it any different with the porn industry? There are a whole host of cootage industries related to porn, including parts and equipment suppliers! I have read that porn industry is down 20%. Their industry, like it or not, has a huge impact (in the billions) on the economy. To give you an example, here in Atlanta, they closed the famous Gold Club several years ago. That had a significant impact on convention business in Atlanta.<br> <br> I am not for any of the bailouts. However, what really bothers me is how the govt is choosing the winners and the losers, choosing who should get the money. If the porn industry went away, no one would talk about the economic impact just like how they have been trying to destroy the tobacco industry for years. Yet, when we talk of the Big 3 going under, then talks of the apocalypse come out and panic about how this will destroy our economy.
