"According to Obama, trillion dollar deficits will last for years. Well duh .. the people of this country have done a great job of ensuring the growth of government. The media will treat these deficits as OK until there's a Republican in the White House."<br> <br> I'm not sure where you're getting this supposed media disparity from. Under Reagan, Bush 41, and Bush 43, deficits skyrocketed, while under Carter they were steady and under Clinton they rapidly shrunk.<br> <br> Source: http://www.headybrew.net/images/content/budget_deficit_or_surplus.gif<br> <br> It doesn't look like this winning streak for Democrats is going to continue for Obama, though.
