I agree that man-made global warming may be factually flawed and that the hysteria over it sure is, but if sea ice is melting in the poles (notice plural tense as there are two of them), water levels would rise by about 3 feet. That is because unlike the artic (the north pole), Antartica (the south pole) has its ice on top of land like Greenland mentioned below which will add water to the oceans.
