I work in Charlottesville, VA, where the liberal city council here has been funding "Art In Place" along several of the streets and highways around the city for years. (I'm sure Neal remembers this from his visit during one of his book tours.) Most of these so-called sculptures are literally piles of scrap metal welded together. It looks like a 5-year-old designed it. It should be called "Junk in the Road" rather than "Art In Place". The fact that the taxpayers are funding this nonsense is highway robbery. It's a joke!
