Our 2 children attend 2 different private schools. They are currently in 4th grade and 9th grade. Neither of them has seen the inside of a public school, and God willing, they never will. We are lower-to-mid middle class, my wife works full time and I run a very small business. We choose to invest our money in our childrens futures instead of buying new cars, homes, taking big vacations, etc. We are sick of hearing all the whining about vouchers. Look, if we get vouchers you can be assured they will come with strings attached, allowing for some of that ever-popular "government oversight". No thanks! Private schools may be easier to afford for the wealthy, but are still very affordable for those who choose to make education a high priority. We pay to have more religion and academics with less oversight and bureaucracy. Lets keep it that way! Vouchers will only result in the eventual dumbing down of our private schools.
