The idea that medical school and residencies are this horrific time and poeple should feel sorry for med students / residents is nonsense. I went through the whole system, had an absolute blast, and would do it again if necessary.<br> <br> However, in the interest of discussion, I do agree that no doctor/nurse should be forced into gov't labor. If this were to happen, the rate of new doctors would PLUMMET in several years, and our profession would be much like that of teachers (sorry, don't mean to offend any that may be reading this).
