When I was a young child, my mother heard me praying for a bicycle. She told me that God is not like that and that is not how I should pray. She told meto start going to church to learn about the nature of God and prayer. I did, and after six months of that, when I felt I understood, I went out and stole a bicycle and prayed for forgiveness.
