First I think that we have lost sight of what is happening here. This bailout was started because “6% of the mortgages in this country were in the toilet”. A lot of these companies were posting profits a while back. Suddenly, there is no bail out for home owners and the very people that Congress vilified are getting the money. Some of you either are to blind to see or chose not to see that both sides of the isle in congress are in on this. <br> <br> ( beware what you wish for! wrote ): “Boortz and his colleagues wanted Chambliss, so therefore one can assume they are closet bail out fans too!”<br> <br> Nice cheap shot, as liberals will so often take. The fact is that you are safe because Martian couldn’t vote or he would have been neck deep in it. <br> <br> <br> ( beware what you wish for! wrote ): “since my belief is republicans have ruined the economy with 8 years of inept, incompetent leadership in congress, senate, white house and 2nd great depression is inevitable”<br> <br> Nice try! But once again we forget (how sweet) that the Democrats have been at the controls for the last two years and during that time we have seen prices rise. And it was only until the scam crisis came to light that the market fell, which by the way was started by the Congress.<br> <br> Get a grip people. We are being played. This is one thing that we need to stand together and get rid of. As for all the tax ideas that Obama has brought up, I can only think of this saying:<br> <br> “The beating will stop when the economy improves”
