I can relate with you in a strange way. My mom and dad got divorced when me and my three siblings were from 9 to 15 years old and my dad remarried immediately, so he was no longer living with us.

My father is a psychiatrist. One year, my dad decided to give us a Learning Christmas...

He gave the four of us four presents TO SHARE. [I bet you can imagine how well that went over].

The gifts were:
1)an elaborate oriental kite (assembly required)
2)a telescope
3)a grow light
4)a blow dryer

It's funny how you remember the unpleasant memories the most... he said he was doing this to get us to share.

This is how it really worked out:
1)The kite stayed at my dads house (never got assembled)
2)the telescope stayed at my dads house (my oldest brother is the only one who ever looked through it - he shared it with my dad)
3)the grow light ended up in my 2 big brothers bedroom closet (they shared it to grow closet cannibus)
4)and my big sister and I shared the blowdryer.

It's funny now... none of us developed any REAL mental issues as a result...
