Here is what I posted to the Obama site regarding giving back. I am sure it will never see the light of day on his site but I may end up getting visited by and IRS Agent.<br> <br> I have never given back anything. That phrase implies that I have been given something and not worked for it. I hate to tell you but I have WORKED or everything I have nothing has been given to me. So if nothing has been given to me I am pretty sure by defintion it cannot be give back. That being said I do all kinds of things to better the community. I did not have children out of wedlock, I take care of my children and family and don't expect the goverment to do it for me. I work two jobs and my wife works four jobs to that we can have things we want but don't really need (this helps the economy). <br> <br> My wife and I put money away for our retirement so that we don't have to live off of the government when we retire. I have a very healthly life insurance policy so that if something should happen to me my wife and daughter could live without the need of a government handout.<br> <br> We do not borrow money that we cannot afford to pay back. We invest in mutual funds, IRAs and 401k's in order to make sure that economy continues to be strong. We buy lots of cool toys in order to make sure that the people that make the toys have jobs and can pay for their own families. <br> <br> We pay for our own health insurance so that if something happens to us or our children that we can afford the best healthcare. Actually my wife had melanoma skin cancer about 7 years ago and because we were responsbile and had excellent healthcare insurance which we paid for by going without neat stuff like big tvs, cell phones and cable she is alive today.<br> <br> Isn't it amazing the good you can do for society just by making smart decision and taking care of yourself.
