Joy was not very eloquent in her message, but I believe she makes at least one valid point that was easily dismissed by Neal due to the tone of the letter. It was in the last sentence:<br> <br> "Sell your private jet and pay someone's mortgage that is being thrown into the street because their minimum wage job (that they were forced to take after they were laid off as the stockholders and CEOs steal their pension money) won't let them hold on to their home. Lose your cushy transportation and save your soul."<br> <br> She seems irrational, and quite possibly she is, but it sounds like she witnessed several productive people in her company get laid off this year while the CEO and his cronies collected several million dollars in bonuses and tax options. I can identify with that. Some of these people were likely life-long employees. With the economy in shambles, this person is expressing a truth. People are having to settle sometimes for minimum wage employment to get by. That's even if they can find that. With all due respect, we all make some mistakes, so lighten up. We see the economy going through a downturn, yet revel in the fact we can purchase so much at such a deep discount. In the meantime, these folks are likely to have little under the Christmas tree this year.
