Nobody is blaming America itself, or Americans themselves. But American foreign policy MUST be addresed. When a company puts to a work a policy that fails it becomes important to re-address that policy and we have reached that point with American foreign policy. Do not let the media soundbyte hypnosis get it twisted for you. You cannot ignore the hard evidence that American policy is hurting America. Even CIA members acknowledge blowback. It is not anti-American or "blame America first" to admit that something is not working and must be fixed. If we had the Saudi military building bases on mainland America I imagine not too many Americans would be tickled with the idea. Im not sure why Americans expect other countries to be tickled with that idea. Also we must look way back to when other countries simply stepped in and started carving up these people's land with foreign artificial boundaries, again if someone where to do that to America, Americans wouldn't stand for it and they shouldn't have to. Neither should other countries. Sure there are islamic fascists bent on destroying America, but American foreign policy seems to simply be helping these nutjobs with their recruitment numbers. Trying to keep America from going bankrupt with its overreaching radical foreign policy (think back to Soviet Union vs Afghanistan) is as pro-American and America first as it gets.
