In 2004, republicans bragged at their election win, they would usher in 40 years of dominance of their party into american politics, how funny in 2 short years later they lost senate, congress majority, then 2 short years later white house, and more congressional/senatorial seats, guess that arrogance, vanity is a bitter pill to swallow, but it is to quote one of my favorite late comedians Jackie Gleason, "how sweet it is"!
