I find this comment, interesting, I have never envied the wealthy, as a christian, I pity them mostly, as I do those who are on the opposite end, in extreme poverty, both need pity, but the wealthy, rich, are sad as well, since bible parable of the rich man whom came to Jesus wanting to follow him, but when told to give/re-distribute his wealth to the poor, he got sad, unable to do this he went away! And the other interesting comment on rich in bible was how hard it will be for a rich man to enter the kindgdom of heaven, as hard as a camel going thru the eye of a needle! Guess if one is rich, arrogant, one might fool ones self into thinking, believing all these false prophets/televangelists preaching the prosperity christian doctrine, that god wants us to be rich, wealthy, when in fact wealth, or being rich is more fate than anything, sure some get rich by being greedy, arrogant, one does not get rich merely by being a nice guy, look at the hate radio icons, Boortz, Ingraham, Oreilly, Hannity & Limbaugh, they all are wealthy, rich, made their wealth selling and being purveyors of hate, racism, bigotry, cannot say I envy them at all, since on judgment day they likely fit the category of the blind biblical goats whom Jesus will not know, and God the father will not look upon as they go the lake of fire to debate for all eternity how the means justified their end!
