There's millions upon millions of Americans who are extremely ignorant to how the government works and basic economics.<br> <br> One of my co-workers is a woman in her mid 30's who honestly believed Obama was born and raised in the middle east. She knew nothing about McCain at all, but she voted for him simply because she thought Obama was Arabic. <br> <br> I also have co-workers who couldn't you the difference between the Congress and the Senate, they didn't even know our state's Senators, yet, they "knew" Obama was the greatest thing ever. <br> <br> I don't think big business is evil, but big business does like using marketing to convience people that a cheap slogan equals a worthy product. Just something to keep in mind when you wonder how so many people went for Obama over a few catchy slogans.
