THE MAD MULLAHS OF IRAN LAUNCH MISSILES

Over the weekend, Iran successfully test-fired short-range missiles. This news comes just days after we find out that Iran has an underground nuclear facility that was being secretly constructed. This also comes just days after the United Nations issued a firm warning that said, "We do not like this, but we will never do anything to stop it." What a joke. This also comes after our president, Barack Obama, stands up in front of the UN (including Mahmoud Ahmadinejad) and declares his dreams for a nuclear-free world. And ... this news comes just weeks after the United States decided to pull its plans to build a missile shield in Eastern Europe. One of the reasons cited was because Iran did not pose a serious threat.

You are following this, aren't you? Barack Obama cancels a project to install missile defense systems in Poland and The Czech Republic. Obama tells the world that he has determine that the Iranian threat is not quite so bad as was supposed. Days later we find that Iran has a second facility for the production of nuclear-grade plutonium soon to come on line. Then these maniacs start test firing missiles.

There ... do you feel safer now? Once again, and all together now ... elections have consequences. I know you're glad that the president looks like you. Big whoop. And you liked the word "change," especially when you added the "you can believe in" thing to the back. And Obama was so trim! So confident! So eloquent! Well, eloquent as long as he had a teleprompter in front of him. And he wrote such a wonderful book! Well, those parts that Bill Ayers didn't write, anyway.

Aren't you just so happy things have turned out so well?

ISRAEL TO BARACK OBAMA: THANKS A PANTLOAD

Barack Obama did a fine job of appeasing and apologizing at the United Nations. While his speech was filled with empty phrases like, "the people of the world want change," the part that got him the most applause was when he mentioned Israel. Need I remind you that applause from a group of dictators and despots is not exactly a good thing. Also .. do I need to remind you that the UN is and has been very much anti-Israel. The applause was no surprise.

As former UN Ambassador John Bolton said, Obama essentially put Israel on the chopping block. Obama said, "We continue to call on Palestinians to end incitement against Israel, and we continue to emphasize that America does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlements ... The United States does Israel no favors when we fail to couple an unwavering commitment to its security with an insistence that Israel respect the legitimate claims and rights of the Palestinians. And nations within this body do the Palestinians no favors when they choose vitriolic attacks over a constructive willingness to recognize Israel's legitimacy, and its right to exist in peace and security."

One of Obama's audience members was none other than Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. This is a man who denies the existence of the Holocaust and says that he wants to "wipe Israel off the map." I wonder if this statement by Barack Obama sent tingles up his leg? Can't you just see him sitting there grinning ear-to-ear as Obama carries his water to the UN delegates?

Now ... having brought up Obama's decidedly unfriendly stance toward Israel, there were some good parts of the speech. I particularly liked this:

"Those who used to chastise America for acting alone in the world cannot now stand by and wait for America to solve the world's problems alone. Now is the time for all of us to take our share of responsibility for a global response to global challenges. Nothing is easier than blaming others for our troubles and absolving ourselves of responsibility for our choices and our actions,"

Well .. good for him on this one.

Still ... the three marquis speeches at the UN yesterday were Ahmadinejad, Qaddafi, and our president. Nice imaging.

CLIMATE CHANGE - REINVIGORATING THE FRAUD

For President Barack Obama, this week is all about international affairs. While healthcare is still at the forefront of the domestic debate, Obama will speak at the UN today and at the G-20 summit later this week. While the United States is focused on healthcare, the rest of the world seems to be focused on another issue: global warming.

Now why do you suppose that would be? No great mystery here ... After decades of looking, global warming has developed into the best scheme that the left has been able to concoct to effect the worldwide transfer and redistribution of the wealth.

World leaders are preparing for their climate change/wealth redistribution conference in Copenhagen in December. There is, though, a fly in the ointment.

The first is the US debate on healthcare. The international community is not all that thrilled that Obama decided to push forward on healthcare reform and leave climate change legislation by the wayside. Doesn't the president realize that redistributing huge amounts of wealth from the United States to undeveloped and despot-controlled countries is far more important then whether or not granny is going to get her hip replacement? They don't care about granny. They want our money; and climate change is the best chance they have right now. They're not thrilled that the Senate may not even get to climate change legislation by the end of this year.

The other roach in the ointment may be reports that the earth is actually cooling. While any world leaders attending these summits won't pay attention to this news, the people back home are. For years they've been hearing people like (ahem) your humble Talkmaster telling them that variances in the sun's heat output account for whatever climate change we're experiencing - now they see the data that conclusively shows the earth is actually cooling down, and has been for about nine years now. And ... guess what? They're also learning that solar activity is diminishing! Hmmmmm. Maybe the preachers of hate were right on this one!

Also, for we received some more information last week that we would pay an additional $1,700 a year if cap-and-trade legislation is passed. That went over like a ... er ... let's say like a mouse in a punchbowl.

Stay vigilant folks. The world's nations are congregating in Copenhagen. They want your money. Don't turn your back.

AND THEN THERE'S NORTH KOREA

Clearly, our concerted effort to crack down on North Korea has done wonders ... the Gargoyle launched a second nuclear test, which is said to improve North Korea's ability to make a more compact nuclear bomb. Then it proceeded to launch several short-range missiles. The test is, again, in violation of a UN Security Council resolution. After the UN sent its stern letter to North Korea back in April, the Gargoyle demanded an apology from the Security Council. I wonder what he is going to want this time ... a dozen roses?

What is clear is that love letters from the United Nations isn't going to do a darn thing to stop the Gargoyle launching more missiles or conducting more nuclear tests.

NORTH KOREA FINALLY RESPONDS

After North Korea launched a test missile a few weeks ago, it took a while before any president or world body said anything about it. But finally, the United Nations did get around to sending a stern letter to North Korea. You know how those are taken seriously.

So now the country has decided to respond to the UN Security Council. The response is probably what you would expect: To hell with you, we are going to conduct a nuclear test and fire more ballistic missiles.

Great. That seemed to work out real well.

Not only that, but North Korea is demanding that the UN apologize for having "infringed the sovereignty of [North Korea] and withdraw all its unreasonable and discriminative 'resolutions' and decisions adopted against [North Korea]."

North Korea's response is, I believe, a direct result of the weakness the United States showed when they launched their missile. Not only did we not shoot the thing out of the sky ... orders came from somewhere to our military that the Navy was forbidden from using its most sophisticated radar technology in tracking the missile.

I can't shake that poll of Europeans last year where we learned that 58% of Europeans wanted a weaker America. Barack Obama is giving Europe exactly what it asked for. The North Korean gargoyle is taking advantage.

Did you hear about the United Nation's latest plans on climate change? A UN document distributed to a major environmental assembly envisions, "a huge reordering of the world economy, likely involving trillions of dollars in wealth transfer, millions of job losses and gains, new taxes, industrial relocations, new tariffs and subsidies, and complicated payments for greenhouse gas abatement schemes and carbon taxes -- all under the supervision of the world body."

This shouldn't come as a surprise to you. I've been telling you for years that the purpose of this global warming movement is to redistribute wealth around the world. And who better to be in charge of that task than the United Nations.

Don't listen though. Global warming is real, right? That's why the earth has been cooling for eight years.

IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY

I've been saying this for years, but the global warming movement is not about saving the environment. It is a giant ponzi scheme to redistribute wealth. And when it comes to the UN, that means redistributing wealth around the world.

That leads me to this .. yesterday the United Nations called on rich nations to create "Global Green New Deal." In order to restart the world economy, the United Nations thinks that the best approach would be for richer nations to spend taxpayer dollars on the environment, climate change and poverty reduction.

How much are we talking? At least 1% of the GDP of each rich nation. The United Nations Environment Program report says, "Reviving the world economy is essential, but measures that focus solely on this objective will not achieve lasting success." That should sound familiar to some of you.

Never let a good crisis go to waste. Looks like the UN is taking a page from Rahm Emanuel's book.

UN PUSHING GLOBAL WARMING SCAM EVEN HARDER

It's been a while since we have agitated all you global warmers out there. In case you all didn't know, the UN is having a little climate conference in Poland right now. And an Associated Press report from Poland says, "Scientists studying the changing nature of the Earth's climate say they have completed one crucial task -- proving beyond a doubt that global warming is real. Now they have to figure out just what to do about it."

Aren't you thrilled? The UN has figured it out! The debate is over! And right now more than 10,000 UN delegates and environmentalists are sitting in Poland and working out the kinks of their plans to cap greenhouse emissions around the world. They are itching at the chance to make the evil rich countries pay up.

Let's look at the weather map. It snowed yesterday in Houston, Texas. The temperature in Siberia was around 80 degrees below zero. Southern California is headed for record low temperatures with snow in some LA suburbs. The Earth hasn't warmed a bit in the last eight years. In fact, it has been cooling slightly. The ocean waters off California are cooling. In the midst of all of this the United Nations is now telling us that it has been absolutely proven that man is causing global warming and that we must act right now to stop it or 30% of all plant and animal life on earth will perish.

Lawrence E. Buja is a climate change researcher from Boulder, Colorado. He says, "The skeptics are doing a good job because they are making us present ironclad proof." Ok .. what proof? Please show me the direct link between human activity and global warming. Please explain to me how a recent study showing that the sun was responsible for half of the warming in the recent decades is incorrect. Please tell me how the world can be warming when 2008 is set to be the coolest year of the decade. Please tell me why the Antarctic ice caps are actually growing.

Proven? Proven how? With computer models. Not with actual scientific testing and fact, but with models ... computer models programmed by humans with or without biases who can insert or leave out data as they see fit.

Then that leads me to this ... a US Senate Minority Report is about to be released. It contains testimony from over 650 scientists (note that they are all scientists and not just ENVIRONMENTALISTS) who are criticizing the man-made climate claims of this UN conference.

But it won't really matter. According to the powers that be, the debate is closed. But just remember that it isn't based on the science, it is based on a need to redistribute the wealth throughout the world - make the richer nations pay for their evil emissions.

Why go through all this trouble? Because if the UN can convince the world that man (more specifically, Americans) are endangering the rest of the world then the UN can embark on a program of weakening the American economy - and us - while strengthening the third world at our expense. This about control and power, it is not about saving the Earth. There was a reason that the Kyoto Treaty left out nations like China while punishing the economies of the United States. This whole scam may not really be on your radio screen right now ... but the time is coming when you will really need to pay some close attention.

PEACEFUL RELIGION OF ISLAM

The Organization of the Islamic Conference is an international organization with a permanent delegation to the United Nations.  Well the OIC is upset that the media is referring to Islam when reporting on the terrorist attacks in India.  I've said it before folks, not all Muslims are terrorists but all terrorists are Muslim.  This is the world according to the OIC:

With the multiplicity of terrorist attacks perpetrated recently by deviant and fanatic individuals, the General Secretariat of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) has noticed a tendency of a section of the media, to interpose the word "Islam" in reporting these incidences.

Islam, the religion of peace, tolerance and compassion, that sanctifies the human soul, and whose universal message is one of mutual peaceful coexistence among all the peoples of the world, regardless of their ethnicities, race, religions or languages, and which calls for kind reasoning and dialogue with all their fellow human beings, abhors and despises all such criminal acts and had enacted the utmost severe punishment for their perpetrators.

It is frustrating to see some circles, still, maliciously trying to establish conceptual link between such evil and wicked practices and Islam, the religion that condemns, scorns and outlaws them.

It is on the premise of this irrefutable fact that we, in the OIC, call upon all well-intentioned peoples of the world, not to give to these criminals any right to present Islam, a right that Islam itself denies them. Those who refer to the perpetrators, as acting on behalf of Islam, help them by offering them justification, anchor and premise that they don't have or deserve. On the other hand, the generalization of the guilt of a few aberrant misguided individuals, to engulf the adherents of a religion of 1.5 billion followers is an outrageous judgment and amounts to an illegal collective punishment on a global scale. Moreover, any attempt to implicate all Muslims in such a wicked and wanton acts goes contrary to the well established principles of international law.

It is therefore hoped that media will avoid resorting to any reference to Islam when narrating such events in order not to disseminate erroneous information that might jeopardize the basic human rights of Muslims, the world over.

So there you go.  How long until the United Nations makes it illegal for news agencies to refer to terrorists as Islamic terrorists?
