He'll be delivering the invocation at the inauguration today. This will surely bring the moonbats out. What if he mentions Jesus? What if he mentions God? This will surely bring slugs like Michael Newdow out to spin around on their heads screaming about the separation of church and state. Well ... here's some news for Newdow. The phrase "separation of church and state" does not appear in our Constitution or in the Declaration of Independence. The Constitution does say that "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." There is no way a pastor saying a Christian prayer during a presidential inauguration constitutes "(making) a law respecting an establishment of religion." So ... for of you who are going to get your turbans (or whatever) in a bunch ... get over it. We need more Rick Warrens right now and a few less Michael Newdows.

Are you one of the millions of Americans who has their thongs in a wad over which religious leaders will have a role in the inauguration ceremonies? When Barack Obama chose Rick Warren to give the invocation on the big day, many liberals threw a fit. Well now the shoe is on the other foot .. Obama has asked Bishop Gene Robinson to deliver the invocation at a kickoff event for the inauguration. Gene Robinson is openly gay. The selection of Robinson is supposed to "heal the anger" over Obama's decision to give Rick Warren such a high profile spot in the ceremonies.

Wait until you hear the outrage over this one. Obama appoints an anti-capitalist socialist to be his global warming czar .. big yawns. But let a gay pastor deliver an invocation ... oh my!

Can I just say one thing .. get over it.
