I'm serious. You'd better be careful out there - we have a bunch of racists running around. Why do I say that? Because new polling from CNN/Opinion Research Corporation shows that 51% of Americans disagree with Obama on the issues that matter most to them. Now we know that The Community Organizer is so wise, so pure, so all-knowing; and he cares so much for each and every one of us ... even us crackers ... that there could be only one reason to oppose anything this wonderful man wants to do, and that is because we're racists! We just can't handle the idea of a black man in the White House - and we were fooled! We only found out he was black after we elected him! That's the only possible reason you could ever disagree with The Community Organizer on the issues that matter most to you. Not because you used your brain and an ounce of common sense to realize that things still aren't looking too good out there.

YOU PEOPLE AREN'T IN LOVE WITH CONGRESS

To say that Americans are "extremely displeased" with Congress right now would be an understatement. Poll numbers right now are at one of their lowest points in more than two decades, according to the Pew Research Center. Only 37% of Americans express favorable views of Congress.

The real test will be ... can this dissatisfaction take us through the 2010 election? You can hoot and holler all you want, but where your voice ultimately counts is in the voting booth. If you've calmed down by then all of this is worth exactly nothing. Right now you are upset because these politicians want to usurp more power over your lives, take more money away from you and expand the size of our already massive federal government. This isn't going to change by 2010. What IS going to change is your vigilance, if you let it.

If you decide next year that every member of congress needs to be replaced, EXCEPT YOURS, then the problem continues.

REPLACE THEM ALL!

Here's some good news! Polling now shows that 57% of Americans would just as soon replace every single member of congress. If you just poll the independents our there that figure rises to 70%.

OK .. that's now. There isn't an election on the horizon. When we get closer to election time these people will start to modify their beliefs a bit. They'll think that every member of congress should be replaced except their own. And why not replace their particular representative? Simple! Because he or she brings home the bacon!

Will the American people figure out that we have a Republic to save here? Will they understand that restoring freedom and individual responsibility may well be more important than a new road or some new sidewalks in their community? We'll find out next year.

FROM MY TWITTER TWEETERS

Yesterday I (@talkmaster) suggested on Twitter that someone should do a poll: Which would you rather have? (1) Swine Flu, or (2) ObamaCare. Here are some responses:

@rachelburks - I will take my chances with the swine flu.

@shizelbs - Swine flue without a doubt.

@ContractHdwGirl - Definetly the swine flu.

@hoss7071 - I would rather have the swine flu. Unlike ObamaCare, swine flu is something I have a chance of getting rid of.

I loved our marginally-intelligent HHS Secretary telling us yesterday that the Swine Flu is so dangerous because it is a new strain and most people don't have immunity. Well ... here's a flash for you. Every year we have a new flu strain and every year people don't have immunity. Duhhhhhh.

I'll be constantly throwing out tweets during the show. Some will make sense.

We've been getting a wealth of information from Rasmussen about public attitudes toward the Democrat attempt to nationalize health care. As you know, about a month ago the Democrats adopted the method of demonizing health insurance companies to further their agenda. They knew that most Americans actually like their doctors and the health care they receive from them, so demonizing the medical establishment wasn't going to work. So ... let's hang the health insurance companies.

Now Rasmussen has found that when it comes to health care decisions, 60% of Florida voters fear the federal government more than private insurance companies. Thirty-three percent (33%) fear insurance companies more. The numbers are virtually identical among those who have health insurance.

Wonder what the looters next strategy will be?

REALITY CHECK

Are Americans finally realizing that elections have consequences? Notice that your friends and your neighbors are silently removing their Barack Obama bumper stickers from their cars. Now they're walking around with a "who, me?" look on their faces. Notice also that more people growing weary of government spending and intervention. They may not admit it, but they know they were wrong. After all, Obama didn't lie about what he wanted to do as president - he ran on a platform of bigger government and more spending on healthcare, energy, education, etc. But most Americans couldn't see beyond his hot bod and charm. They we suckered in by focus group slogans. They voted for him anyway.

A new Wall Street Journal poll found that there are rising doubts among Americans. This is not good for a president that has the most ambitious government-growth plans since the Great Depression. For example, 70% of Americans are concerned about the increased government intervention in the private sector.

Now here is a prime example of a dumb Obama voter. This is someone who voted for Obama precisely because of the reasons above. Laura Zamora is a local government worker in Orange, California. Government worker ... that's your key. Ms. Zamora says she is frustrated with Obama, but here is why: "He's bailing out the private sector. He's putting all kinds of money into the private sector ... The money should be going to social programs, not to bailing out banks and GM. It should go to people who are unemployed." I would bet a day's salary that this bimbo was government educated. No bets on whether or not she's here legally.

The Democrats see this failing confidence in their Messiah. They know that if they want to increase government dependency through government growth they have to move fast, before more people out there wake up. It's classic. They're trying to steal your independence .. and their tip-toeing through your room in the dark of night trying to get it done before you wake up ... and they just heard you move under the covers. Why do you think the Democrats are bummed that they have to postpone a markup of the healthcare reform bill? Because they know that time is of the essence.

THIS IDEA OF 'FREE' HEALTHCARE

Don't you worry dear listeners ... we will get government-run healthcare in this country. It is only a matter of time. But just remember that to most people, they view government-run healthcare (or universal healthcare) as "free" healthcare. That would be because they are government-educated fools.

The last thing that universal healthcare is going to be is free. Maybe it will be free to those 50% of Americans who don't pay income taxes. But for a lot of Americans, this grand government healthcare scheme is going to cost them a lot of money in the form of tax increases. Remember, government doesn't earn wealth it seizes wealth. So in order to provide a service like healthcare, it has to get the money to pay for it - and the more you produce, the more of that money is going to come from you.

That leads me to this poll conducted by Rasmussen ... 42% of Americans say that everyone in the United States should have "free" healthcare. So there we go. Now you understand our dilemma. This question is inherently flawed, but I think you understand what they are getting at - it might as well be a right that is outlined in our Bill of Rights ... the right to healthcare!

Interesting to note, however, that by a two-to-one margin Americans reject the idea of free healthcare if it means that they would have to change their own coverage or join a program administered by the government.

So people don't want the government to touch their own healthcare, but they believe that the government should provide it for others.

ENLIGHTENING FACT TO START OUT THE WEEK

This is truly pathetic. According to a recent Rasmussen poll, 34% of Americans believe that they can't earn a living without government help. Among Democrat and Republican voters there were no surprises. More than half of the Democrats polled agreed that they couldn't earn a living without being empowered by the government. Republicans disagreed by a 3-1 margin.

Here's a very simple question for you to cogitate over: Would you rather live in a country where:

(a) People can make a living and live their lives in a self-sufficient manner without "empowerment" by the government; or,

(b) A person cannot make a living in this country without government support and self-sufficiency is virtually impossible.

The sad thing here is that for a good percentage of these people they are absolutely right. They were educated in government schools never realizing that these schools were designed to produce people who would amount to little more than good employees and good government subjects.

WHAT THE PEOPLE THINK

According to a survey released yesterday by Quinnipiac University, 64% of Americans feel that the Obama's mortgage plan is unfair to people who pay their mortgage on time. I guess this means that people who have been paying their mortgages on time and in accordance with their mortgage documents would like to see their payments reduced as well. Typical.

Sometimes I like to read the comments on stories around the Internet. Well I saw a couple from this story that I thought you would enjoy. Just listen to the reasoning of these people ... and remember, they can vote. That would explain why things are the way they are.

This one is from Barbara:

"This is the whole problem with our country, too many greedy people. It's all about "me, me, and me. What about us. We should all be willing to help each other. I am 62 yrs old, work 2 jobs, and barely make ends meet. I am running about 2 weeks behind on my mortgage and can't get caught up. I am charged around $30 extra for my lateness. I had surgery and had to go without pay for 2 weeks and this got me behind. I'm sure this plan won't help me. Let it help people that need it more. . I am not complaining like the rest of you. Having a home means everything to me. If this plan can help people stay in their homes or help them out with their mortgage so they can get caught up., I say "Praise God". Greedy people don't have a clue what it means to do without. Don't judge until you walk a mile in some one else's shoes. God will be pleased that we help each other. Some people have lost their jobs, does that mean they are "DEAD BEATS". Rethink that quote, you may be in the same situation some day."

It would seem that Barbara defines "greedy" as someone who has handled their finances responsibly. Par for the course.

And this one is from Gene /Connie Garvin:

"We should all appreciate what our President is doing for us. He is doing his best to save this country. There are fortunate people that can pay mortgages on time and a lot of people that can't. What is wrong if we help people that are in need. We are all Americans and should stand for each other. President Obama you are the best President and please continue on your mission for America. We appreciate everything you do for us."

So Gene and Connie have a different take. The people who handle their finances properly aren't necessarily "greedy." They're just lucky.

Now ... think we can find someone who will take the heat for the mismanagement of their own finances?

I, for one, won't waste too much time on that.

Yesterday I told you about the sagging economy's effect on the boob job industry. Yep, plastic surgeons have been facing sharp declines in the number of patients receiving new funbags. Good news for all you men out there who like them ala natural.

So the next pig up the government trough may be ... the adult entertainment business. You got it. The porn industry. The CEO of Girls Gone Wild, Joe Francis, and the publisher of "Hustler" magazine, Larry Flint, say that they want a bailout from the government, similar to the one given to the Big Three automakers. Their request is $5 billion .. oh that's all? They say they will use the money to invest in new means of distribution. They say they will use the money wisely and create jobs for hard working Americans.

Actually ... this is a lot of fun. Francis says that if they are invited to Washington to present their plan, they would be willing to drive across the country in a hybrid vehicle. Francis also says that they would be willing to discuss the idea of the government buying equity stakes in their companies, just like the financial firms. Wow, now there is a way to kill the porn industry .. let the government get involved!

Flint of "Hustler" says, "People are too depressed to be sexually active ... This is very unhealthy as a nation. Americans can do without cars and such but they cannot do without sex."

The man does make a point.

EUROPEANS GETTING WHAT THEY WANTED?

By

You probably don't remember it, but earlier this year Pew Research did a poll in Europe questioning European attitudes toward the U.S. Poll results showed that 58% of Europeans wanted to see the United States weakened. Could that have been one of the reasons Europeans were so solidly behind the election of Barack Obama? Did they suspect that he was a key to a weaker America?

Now I call your attention to this story from Reuters. The National Intelligence Council has produced an analysis entitled "Global Trends 2025." The basics? The economic and political clout of the United States will decline over the next 20 years resulting in a more dangerous world with a plentitude of advanced weapons and scarcities in food and water.

The Europeans may well get what they wanted. How far into this process do you think we will get before they start screaming and begging for help from the U.S. as either Muslims or Russia embarks on a grand new adventure?
